The Australian Government and state and territory governments are working with people with disability and the wider disability community on the enduring National Disability Data Asset.

This includes through the National Disability Data Asset Council, panels that support the Council, our government partners and the involvement of the community.

The Council

The Council will make sure the data asset is only used for the things that governments and the disability community have agreed to.

One way the National Disability Data Asset will be co-governed is through the Council.

The Department of Social Services, in partnership with the Australian Bureau of Statistics and Australian Institute of Health and Welfare are leading this phase

Community involvement
